Liapades is a traditional village west of Corfu and 20 km from Corfu town. The village has its roots in Byzantine times and took its name from a small group of see explorers called Allipaktoi. The village’s history illustrated in the beautiful colorful houses built with an old architecture.
The narrow cobblestone streets, the churches with beautiful bell tower standing in this land for years and travels the visitor back in time. This place divided in two parts, the traditional village which protected as a UNESCO cultural heritage, and located in an amazing hill with a magical view. The second part is the recently built village with hotels, apartments and restaurants that leads in a small beach with clear green waters.
