About Agios Gordis
The village is one of the most touristic destinations and has been built in a beautiful location among in some olive trees. The road to Agios Gordis offers a view that is breathtaking. When you will pass the picturesque village Sinarades bellow follows a complex of turns where from above is a Corfiot olive grove and from the street bellow you can admire the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea. Also some large vertical rocks that look like a sculpture project inspired by the beauty of Corfu nature decorate the Ionian Sea.
Sinarades
Sinarades village identifies the beauty of Corfu in combination with the traditional architecture. Colorful houses with open windows and beautiful narrow streets in your wake you will find small coffee shops to make a brake for soft drink or beer. In the village there are some old mansions that make impression because with the passage of time have greater prestige. Also the old churches in the Sinarades have different colors and precious carved marbles where all these give in the area a distinctive charm
Where to swim
Agios Gordis beach is magical and sandy, has the color of gold and the waters are warm and crystal. The beach is suitably for children and families, has water sports, sun loungers and umbrellas. Characteristic to the left of the beach is the vertical huge rock that looks like a giant finger where showing in the sky.
